Cloud, Cloudflare & edge services

Design cloud and edge infrastructure around performance, security, and operational clarity. Bring content closer to users while keeping applications and administrative access under control.

Match the architecture to the workload

A content website, business application, and data service have different needs. We assess what can be pre-rendered or cached, what needs server-side processing, and where data should be stored. The design considers latency, access, resilience, observability, and ongoing cost.

Cloudflare services can support content delivery, DNS, web application protection, and access controls. TRUST-IT’s existing Cloudflare service site provides a dedicated route to discuss platform requirements and licensing. Product selection follows the needs of the workload.

Migrate with a clear operational plan

Migration begins with an inventory of domains, applications, dependencies, and existing traffic. For websites, URL mapping and redirects protect continuity for visitors and search engines. For applications, we plan configuration, secrets, access, testing, and rollback.

The handover includes ownership of accounts and domains, operating procedures, and a support scope. Managed services, software licences, and subscriptions are defined separately so it is clear what the service includes and who is responsible for each part.

Website migration that preserves search destinations

A faster platform should continue to serve the addresses that customers, advertisements and search engines already use. We inventory pages, redirects, language variants, metadata, forms and tracking dependencies before designing the migration. A separate preview allows content and behaviour to be checked against the existing site. Cutover planning includes rollback criteria and verification of important landing pages, rather than treating a successful deployment as the end of the project.

Cache public content without exposing private responses

Images and public content have different delivery needs from account pages, personal dashboards and authenticated APIs. Cache policy must distinguish those response types and be tested with relevant cookies, headers and query parameters. We also consider how an editor publishes a correction and how old assets are refreshed. The objective is dependable delivery with a clear update process and appropriate boundaries around user-specific information.

Cloudflare security and origin protection

Depending on the agreed workload and account capabilities, a project can review DNS, TLS, web application protection, request filtering and access to the origin. Rules should reflect the application’s real traffic and be introduced with a way to identify unintended blocking. Existing email records, subdomains, third-party services and administrative access are part of the change plan because a website migration can affect more than the website.

Measure the complete mobile experience

We examine useful page content, image delivery, font loading, scripts and interaction behaviour alongside hosting response time. A fast first response does not establish that a form is usable or that a page remains stable while images load. Before and after measurements should use comparable pages and conditions, with field performance and search traffic reviewed after launch when sufficient real usage is available.

What you receive

  • Architecture and dependency review
  • Cloud or edge implementation and migration plan
  • Access controls, caching, and operational configuration
  • Testing, rollback, and support documentation
  • URL, redirect, language and integration migration inventory
  • Measured launch checks, cache policy and documented rollback conditions

Common questions

Is moving a website to the edge enough to improve SEO?

Fast delivery helps the user experience, but search visibility also depends on useful content, crawlable pages, internal links, and a careful migration.

Can you work with an existing Cloudflare account?

The account structure, required access, current configuration, and migration scope are reviewed before implementation.

Can you migrate a Wix or other hosted website while keeping its page names?

We can assess the published page inventory and build a preservation plan. The scope must also account for functions tied to the old platform, including forms, bookings, subscriptions, advertising connections and any content that cannot simply be copied.

Do we need to transfer our whole domain to a new provider?

Not necessarily. Hosting, DNS, registration and email are separate responsibilities. We first map the current arrangement, then propose the minimum coordinated changes required for the agreed architecture.
